Touched by Cancer--art show in Pueblo

A free public exhibit featuring 50 works of art by cancer survivors or people whose lives have been touched by cancer will go on display in Pueblo Tuesday. There are two locations where you can view the canvases--the Dorcy Cancer Center, St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center and ABC Bank.

An opening reception for the Lilly Oncology on Canvas art exhibit will be held at ABC Bank, 225 Main Street, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm on Tuesday. The opening reception is free and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

The Dorcy Cancer Center is one of just three locations in Colorado to host this international art show. The show will feature 50 pieces of art which reflect the emotional and spiritual elements of the cancer experience.

It will be displayed November 17 - December 11. The exhibit is open to the public from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, at ABC Bank and 8:30 am - 4:30 pm in the Dorcy Cancer Center at 2004 Lake Ave.
