Tow trucks gather in tribute

Tow trucks from Southern Colorado and the rest of the state have begun to gather on southbound I-25 at the scenic overlook to the Air Force Academy.  There are enough tow trucks that traffic is running slow in the area.  We have a crew on the scene and will be following the procession to First Church of the Nazarene at 4120 E. Fountain Blvd.

The trucks have gathered in tribute to Allen Rose, the tow truck driver who was dragged to his death last week in Colorado Springs.  The trucks, dozens and possibly more than a hundred, will travel south on I-25, exiting east on Martin Luther King Bypass on their way to the church for the funeral at 11 a.m.
