Rail traffic from Chama, New Mexico to Antonito on the 64-mile-long Cumbres and Toltec Railroad has been halted because of a trestle fire.

The historic steam train is owned by the states of New Mexico and Colorado. It runs from Chama to Antonito, Colorado. The railroad says the fire broke out Wednesday night on the Lobato trestle north of Chama in northern New Mexico. The cause isn't known.
