Trinidad point guard is Athlete of the Week

Chelsea Velasquez of Trinidad High School is this week's Loaf ‘N Jug Aquafina Athlete of the Week.
Chelsea is the point guard for the Lady Miners basketball team and she has led Trinidad to the No. 7 seed in the 3A state tournament.
The 18-year old was named the Tri-Peaks League Player of the Year and has several offers to play hoops in college.
Chelsea also plays volleyball and soccer for the Lady Miners and works as a lifeguard in the summer. She also has a 4.1 GPA and hopes to major in physical therapy in college.
