TSA lifts ban on pocketknives, flight attendants groups outraged

WASHINGTON (AP) - The union that represents mover than 10,000 flight attendants at Southwest Airlines says a new policy allowing passengers to carry small knives is "dangerous" and "shortsighted."

The relaxed rules will also allow souvenir baseball bats, golf clubs and other sports equipment starting next month.

TSA says the new rules conform to international standards.
