Two CSU football players arrested

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Colorado State coach Steve Fairchild acknowledged that two football players were among four people arrested Saturday at an apartment complex party.

Starting middle linebacker James Skelton and backup defensive tackle Zach Tiedgen were cited for disorderly conduct. The 21-year-old juniors were arrested at a move-in pool party at the Campus Crossroads at Ram's Pointe apartment complex.

The two were cited and released.

Fairchild said at his weekly Monday press conference that he heard about it over the weekend. He said, "We are gathering information and when it's appropriate, we will comment."

Both Skelton and Tiedgen practiced with the team on Monday.

The Rams open the season Saturday at New Mexico.
