Fort Collins police say a crowd of about 400 threw bottles at officers, damaged cars and set trash cans on fire after a festival in Old Town.

Authorities say two people were thrown through a window and were taken to a hospital early Sunday, but their conditions and the extent of their injuries weren't immediately available. No officers were hurt.

Authorities issued citations for disorderly conduct or fighting in public. They say more citations may be issued and arrests are possible.

Police say several fights broke out, and some people stole from vendors set up for the downtown New West Fest. It's not clear whether the crowd had been at the festival.

Officers say they moved in after the crowd ignored orders to disperse.
