Two Colorado Springs men are facing charges for their involvement in the fire that destroyed the Green Mountain Falls Town Hall early Thursday morning.
Zachariah Shaffer and Kyle Lawrence are facing charges for First Degree Arson, Second Degree Burglary and Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Arson. Shaffer was arrested and posted $25,000 bond Saturday. Lawrence was taken to Memorial Hospital and transferred to a Denver care facility for severe burns. His arrest is pending his release from the burn care facility.
The building burned to the ground as a result of the blaze and town officials are working to locate a new building ahead of April elections.
