Two skiers narrowly survive Summit County avalanche

DILLON, Colo. (AP) - Summit County rescuers say two men swept 400 feet by an avalanche near the Arapahoe Basin ski resort have lived to tell about it. Rescue Group spokesman Jim Koegel (KOH'-gull) tells KYSL-FM in Dillon one of the men was completely buried and bounced off some trees, but escaped uninjured. The other man suffered a broken leg.
