Update: AutoZone shooting suspect arrested

We're uncovering new information in a deadly shooting at an AutoZone last month in Colorado Springs. Police have made yet another arrest.

On Tuesday, CSPD obtained an arrest warrant for Frani Olivas. As of Wednesday night she's behind bars. The 48 year old was taken in to custody Wednesday morning after appearing in El Paso County Court on an issue unrelated to the shooting.

We've obtained copies of the arrest warrant for Olivas and murder suspect Ernest Schmidt who is already in jail. Police believe the two collaborated on a plan to rob people in order to pay for an apartment.

The arrest affidavit says Olivas and Schmidt planned the robbery that killed 39 year old Joaquin Paniagua and injured 54 year old Donald Laroe. The report says after Schmidt allegedly shot the two men he kidnapped another and used the victim's cell phone to call Olivas. Police say the two, along with Schmidt's girlfriend Dawn Morgan hid out at a hotel and Olivas destroyed the cell phone to get rid of the evidence.

Olivas has been arrested on accessory to 1st degree murder charges and is being held on a $50,000 bond at the El Paso County jail.
