Update: Blizzard conditions and severe weather close roads

Blizzard conditions and severe winter weather across parts of southeastern Colorado have closed several roads including southbound I-25 south of Pueblo due to accidents. CDOT reports that I-25 is also closed in both directions from Colorado City to Raton, New Mexico.

Authorites in Trinidad report that lodging is nearly full, so accomodations might not be available.

Highway 287 is closed from Lamar to the Oklahoma border and SH 10 is closed west of La Junta due to an accident.

Stay tuned to KOAA 5 for the latest on storm impacts on southern Colorado.
