Authorities say a woman purportedly selling magazines door-to-door was stabbed during an altercation with a Colorado Springs homeowner.

Deputies say two women may have been trying to steal from the house when they went to the door Tuesday night and a fight erupted. Authorities say the homeowner pulled a knife, and one of the women and the homeowner were injured.

Deputies say neither person's injuries appeared to be life-threatening.

The women fled in a van driven by a man. Police stopped the van, took the injured woman to the hospital and took the other two people into custody.

The two women arrested in this case have been identified as Rosette Graves and Melissa Bales. They're being held at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.
