UPDATE: Drug bust finds several pounds of methamphetamines

Six people are in custody because of a drug bust by the DEA around 1 p.m. today, but the DEA is not sure if all will be charged, as the investigation is in its early stages and still ongoing.

Agents raided multiple locations across Colorado Springs.

One of the locations that law enforcement found the majority of the drugs and money was in an apartment complex on the 800 block of Circle Drive. There, they found between three and four pounds of methamphetamine and a large amount of cash. Around twenty agents were on site working the scene.

"If there's any more drugs out there that are related to this or any other organization that we would seize it, and if there's more money or weapons that we would get those as well," says DEA agent Matthew Barden.

The names of the arrested have not yet been released.

DEA agents worked with CSPD, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, and Pueblo Police Department/County.
