UPDATE: Falcon grass fire 100% contained

Crews fighting the grass fire that started near Oregon Wagon Trail in Falcon have reported that they are now in the mop up and hot spot watch stage of fighting the fire that flared up from a lawn mower earlier today. Officials on scene declared the fire 100% contained as of 12:30 P.M. Sunday.
Residents saw just how fast a grass fire could grow and threaten their homes, and then how well trained the fire crews are that respond to these fast spreading fires. A more details and complete report will be released later this afternoon. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
