UPDATE: Flash flood watch in effect through morning

As of 2:45 a.m., a flash flood watch for the I-25 corridor and areas west remains in place.

The portion of southern Colorado affected by the watch stretches from Monument Hill south to the New Mexico border. It includes the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest burn scars.

The watch also includes areas previously under a flash flood warning, including Black Forest, Southwestern Pueblo County, eastern Custer County, and extreme northwestern Huerfano County. Those warnings expired at 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. respectively.

The flash flood watch expires at 12 p.m. Monday.
