Update on the possible weekend blizzard in eastern Colorado

A storm with the potential to produce blizzard conditions is headed for Colorado. A Blizzard Watch will be active from 1AM Sunday through 5pm Sunday for the Palmer Divide, northeast El Paso County, the southern I-25 corridor from south of Colorado City to the New Mexico state line and  lower elevations of Las Animas County. Winds from 35 to 45 mph combined with snow could create very dangerous travel with blizzard conditions. The latest computer guidance still doesn't have the exact track of the storm pinned down, so the forecast could still change over the next 12 hours. Stay tuned for updates as this storm continues to develop.
