UPDATE: Platte Ave at Wahsatch reopened

Colorado Springs Police had to close a portion of Platte Ave. East of Wahsatch due to multiple accidents and ice build up through the underpass. They have cleared the accidents and sand trucks have placed traction grit to the road. Many streets through out the city have had some melting but now that temeratures are starting to dip again, expect roadways to re-ice.
