The Colorado Springs Police Department working with the U.S. Olympic Training Center Security Team has been able to determine that the object found and originally thought to be suspicious has now been determined safe. Earlier, construction workers were asked to identify the tool box that was found and no one knew who it belonged to. After sending the CSPD Bomb Squad to the scene, the owner of the box was found and the box was opened to reveal nothing but tools.

The CSPD Bomb Squad has taken advantage of the moment and are now conducting training in the area to keep their skills sharp.
