NEW YORK (AP) - U.S. stock futures are rising strongly on a surprisingly strong report on the job market in July. The report comes a day after the market's worst trading day since 2008. The U.S. markets indexes have fallen 10 percent from their spring highs. Global stock markets plummeted today, amid fears that the U.S. may be heading back into recession. The leaders of some European countries are holding an emergency meeting by phone today, to discuss the jittery markets and the
European financial crisis.
