US team sent to southern Russia to speak to suspects' parents

MOSCOW (AP) - U.S. investigators have traveled to southern Russia to talk to the parents of the two Boston bombing suspects.
According to a U.S. Embassy official, the trip by the U.S. team was made possible because of Russian government cooperation with the FBI investigation into the bombing.
There's no word on whether investigators have talked to the parents -- but a lawyer for the family said today that they had just seen pictures of the body of their elder son, and were not up to speaking with anyone at the moment.
The suspects' mother appeared publicly outside her home for the first time since her sons were named as the bombing suspects. She was ushered past journalists and into a taxi, which sped away.
A human rights activist requested that the family be left alone. Heda Saratova says the mother is in "very bad shape," saying that she watches the video of her dead son and cries.
