From Attack of the Killer Ice to The Big Fix.

The City of Colorado Springs, the USOC building architect, the contractor and a roofing contractor have figured out a temporary fix for the melting snow and falling ice problem at the new USOC headquarters building downtown. Pedestrians, vehicles and nearby businesses were pummeled Monday when weekend snow began melting.

Like a big ol' bandage to fix a booboo, the temporary fix features a continuous sheet metal plate that will be attached to the roof snow guards.

The temporary fix will be installed before the weekend.
