Traffic congestion should ease this weekend on Highway 24 through Waldo Canyon. All the construction work on the new culvert to better protect the highway from flood waters coming off the Waldo Canyon burn scar is nearing completion. The work has been going on since February. Friday evening, work puts lanes back to normal. "Beginning at 7:30 tonight the contractors going to reconfigure the lanes so we have two lanes going in both directions like we did before we started the work," said CDOT Project Engineer, Rich Gonser.
