HIGHS MONDAY: 51 degrees in both Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Lows this morning were only 12 and 7 in both locations.
TONIGHT: Starry and chilly, but not as cold as it was as Monday morning. Low temps fall to around 26 in the Springs, 18 in Pueblo and 29 in Canon City.
TUESDAY: Thanks to a ridge of high pressure to our northwest it will be at least 8-10 degrees warmer. Skies will be sunny again as max temps reach 60 in the Springs and 63 in Pueblo. Enjoy!
WEDNESDAY: More sunshine and even warmer...in fact you might think your mid-week forecast feels more like spring than winter! High temps will be about 20-25 degrees warmer than average. 67 in Colorado Springs, 71 in Pueblo, 68 in Canon City and even in the 50's in parts of Teller County.
THURSDAY-FRIDAY: There is a weak cool front/storm system that will arrive during the day on Thursday...so it will be a touch cooler and dry. Slight chance in a couple of spots across the Continental Divide will see a few light snow flurries. Friday will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy and even cooler still. Highs will range from only 47 in the Springs and about 50 in Pueblo and Canon City.
SATURDAY-SUNDAY: Weather for the weekend will still be dry, but not quite as chilly as Friday. Highs will range from the mid 50's in the Springs and upper 50's in Pueblo and Canon. Teller County temps will stay in the 40's. All these temps will be about 6-8 degrees warmer than average. There is another, stronger trough of low pressure approaching the state and it will start bringing colder temps and a better chance of measureable snow to the ski resorts during the day and the start of next week.
MONDAY: That same storm will move across the region and cool temps down for all of eastern Colorado. It will be at least 5-7 degrees cooler compared to Sunday and at least one computer solution is hinting at a slight chance of a few light showers possible at the lower elevations. We'll see and keep you posted....we need the moisture!
