Highway 85 in Fountain was dotted with people on Saturday afternoon all showing their support for war veterans.
Veterans rode through the area on motorcycles as they made their way from Rancho Cucamonga, CA to Washington, D.C.
"Run For the Wall" is in its 26th year, but it's the first time in eight years that the run has made its way through Colorado.
"All the people like you and everybody in every town and city in the United States wouldn't have their freedom if it wasn't for people like us and these people riding through here on their motorcycles," says Stan Culbert, a Vietnam vet.
Dean Noechel of the American Legion Riders Post 38 says many veterans suffer from PTSD and that riding a motorcycle can be calming for them.
Riders will arrive in Washington, D.C. on Memorial Day Weekend and end their trip at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
