After records high temperatures were broken in Colorado Springs and Denver, cooler air is on its way into Colorado. A cold front will move through Southern Colorado tonight. Throughout today, gusty southwest winds and increasing clouds will bring temperatures into the mid-to-upper 50's. The wind will shift and blow from the north overnight, and the temperatures will cool quickly following the wind shift. By Friday morning, we will be in the 20's. While a flurry cannot be ruled out, most areas likely will not see snow until at least Saturday night.
Early indications are some snow could fall on Christmas Day. We will be tracking changes and fine tuning the Christmas forecast for the next week.
