Today will be a little warmer than yesterday with highs in the 70's and 80's. Similarly to yesterday, showers will be possible. Most of those showers will hug the southern Front Range and the I-25 corridor. Rain will be unlikely across the Southeastern Plains.
The upslope wind today and tomorrow that will help bring those rain showers will become a downslope wind, which will dry the atmosphere and warm our temperatures beginning late this week. That will also help to push any chance for rain to the east of I-25, and it could be that with that increasing downslope wind some showers and thunderstorms may become possible across the Southeastern Plains late this week and this weekend. That rain, much like our rain along the Front Range today, will be spotty and not everyone will actually see rain fall.
