Warmer into New Year's Eve

It'll be very cold overnight with lows in the teens under mostly clear skies. Expect a chilly start to the day Monday, but temperatures will rebound nicely into the 40s/50s for the afternoon with lots of sunshine overhead.

Tuesday (New Year's Eve) will be even warmer with highs well above average in the 50s/60s. If you plan on ringing in the new year outside here in Southern Colorado, bundle up. It'll be partly cloudy and dry out at midnight with temperatures ranging from the mid 20s to the mid 30s.

The quiet weather conditions will continue into the first few days of 2014 with highs remaining above average in the 40s/50s. A fast moving system may bring some rain/snow to the region Saturday. Stay tuned.
