TODAY: Cold start to a ‘slightly' milder day. Sunny skies in the morning and then increasing clouds in the afternoon as a disturbance drops into eastern Colorado from the northwest. Temps will reach 30 in the Springs and 33 in Pueblo. Temps in Teller County will stay in the 20's. By late Tuesday night there will be about a 20% chance of a few light snow showers over the Rampart Range and Monument Hill (Monument, USAFA, Black Forest, Calhan). The chance of light snow will then move to over the Raton Mesa and Trinidad areas around midnight to 2 AM. Less than ½ to 1 inch of snow is possible.
WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY: Plenty of sunshine all three days with dry, milder weather. Temps on Wednesday and Friday will be in the lower 50's in the Springs and middle 50's in Pueblo. That is about 35 degrees warmer than the high temps we had Sunday and Monday of this week!
SATURDAY: Dry and quiet with plenty of sunshine to start the weekend. 48 in Colorado Springs and about 52 in Pueblo.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies continue, but temps should be about 2-4 degrees cooler compared to Saturday.
MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR DAY: Monday forecast will be yet another dry, cool day. Weather to start next week will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny with high temps a degree or two colder than Sunday.
