Temperatures will be on the upswing the next few days as warmer air moves into Southern Colorado for the start of the new week. Highs Sunday will be close to seasonal for this time of year with the weather remaining mostly sunny and dry. Winds will be a little breezy at times out of the south at 10 to 20 mph mainly around the Pikes Peak region and the Palmer Divide Sunday afternoon.
It'll be a hot one Monday as highs jump into the 80s/90s for most areas. Pueblo and parts of the Southeastern Plains may even top out around 100 degrees Monday afternoon. After Monday's heat, highs fall back into the 70s/80s for the rest of the week with a daily chance for showers and storms starting up Wednesday and lasting into next weekend.
