After two days of cool temperatures, the weather starts to change on Thursday. Instead of the clouds and cool temperatures from Tuesday and Wednesday, we'll climb back to more seasonal averages as the sunshine returns. This means highs will be in the 80s and 90s Thursday with partly sunny skies. Now, we could still see a spotty shower, but it won't be widespread.
4th of July forecast calls for even more heat! From Friday through Sunday, temperatures will climb well into the 80s, 90s, even 100s! So it'll definitely feel festive for any bar-b-ques or picnics. Each day we'll stay partly to mostly sunny, but do know that a pop-up shower or two is going to be possible at anytime, especially late afternoon/evening hours.
The better chance for rain will come with a storm system from the west. This means we'll likely see rain for a good portion of the area Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
Hope you're enjoying the break from the heat... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
