A cold front and upper level low pressure trough are on the way, and they will mean a quick hit of snow tonight, but before the snow arrives we will warm today ahead of the cold front. High temperatures will be in the upper 50's and lower 60's.
What may be cold rain to start will change to snow tonight. It begins 7-9 PM in our northwest areas (Teller County) and exits our southeastern areas (Lamar and Springfield) by 6-8 AM Thursday. It will move through the I-25 Corridor from 10 PM to 2 AM. For most areas, the snow will stop before our Thursday morning drive to work, and accumulation will be minor. Most areas will not even see an inch, but two inches cannot be ruled out in isolated spots.
