Wednesday Weather: Still Cool and Still Warming

We will warm into the 40's around Colorado Springs, the higher elevations west of I-25 and the Southeastern Plains today with some 50's along the I-25 corridor from Pueblo south to Trinidad.

Sun will be filtered by high-altitude clouds, and the wind could be a bit gusty at times, especially close to the mountains. Away from the mountain, the wind will be less gusty.

The warm up will continue through the weekend.

More snow will fall in the northern mountains tonight and tomorrow morning, which could aggravate an already dangerous situation with the high avalanche risk. A dozen avalanches were reported Tuesday.
