Weekend DUI patrols scheduled in Pueblo

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office plans DUI saturation patrols this weekend to coincide with the Super Bowl.
In 2008 the State of Colorado passed House Bill 1194 which in part requires an increase in the number of high visibility drunk driving patrols and has made funds available to pay it. Super Bowl Weekend was identified by law enforcement as a time period that has historically has had an increased number of DUI incidents.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office will participate in this enforcement period.
