Mother Nature flipped the 'nice weather switch' Friday. While we had a few isolated showers, most areas stayed dry. And without the rain, temperatures climbed into the 80s and even 90s. As we head into the weekend, we can expect even warmer and sunnier conditions.
Highs are going to climb a few degrees both Saturday and Sunday, leading to near 90 for Springs and near 100 for Pueblo. With the heat building, we'll see plenty of sunshine as well as mostly dry weather. There may be a stray shower (10-20% chance), but most areas stay dry all weekend long.
This same weather pattern is going to be in place for a while. All of next week looks like this weekend. Meaning highs staying near 90 for Springs and near 100 for Pueblo. Along with the heat comes more sunshine and very little rain.
Stay cool this weekend... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
