West Fork Complex Fire continues to grow

The West Fork Complex Fire in the Wolf Creek Pass area continues to grow rapidly.

This morning the fire was estimated at 18,000 acres and the mandatory evacuation area now includes the entire town of South Fork.

Highway 160 is closed from South Fork to Pagosa Springs and Highway 149 is closed from South Fork between mile markers 1 and 22.

The evacuation shelter is at the high school in Del Norte. There is space for large animals and RVs at the Ski-Hi event center in Monte Vista.

Smoke from the West Fork Complex fire can be seen all over Southern Colorado.
