You may have seen a Rapid Screen truck off of the on-ramp at I-25 and North Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs Wednesday.
Don't worry; the operating company says they aren't giving tickets -- or checking your speed. They're looking at car emissions and pollutants. They're working on a Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment study along the Front Range.
For each car going by, it only takes one second to register what the car is putting out. They use infrared and ultraviolet light beams to identify what's left behind when your car goes by.
