There is growing evidence that some college students may be getting overlooked when it comes to financial aid.
Out of pocket money can be a burden for any family especially with rising tuition costs, but it appears wealthy students may be getting a leg up in the admissions process.

Analysts say it may be due to competition to recruit highly qualified students.
