The special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants and children, or WIC, says they have room for more clients.
The Pueblo County Health Department says they are encouraging families to call and learn if they qualify for the assistance.
The programs goal is to help keep pregnant and breastfeeding woman and children under age five healthy. WIC provides check to get free, healthy and nutritious foods to supplement diets, health screenings, information on healthy eating.
They also provide referrals for health care and other services free of charge to Pueblo families.
