Wildfires burn homes in central TX and Calif.

UNDATED (AP) - Strong winds and drought conditions are fueling a wildfire in central Texas that so far has destroyed nearly 500 homes and forced 5,000 people to evacuate. The blaze has burned some 25,000 acres. And in Southern California, at least three wildfires are burning. One, started by a small plane crash, has burned through 8,600 acres and destroyed a dozen homes.
