***WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MST THIS EVENING GRAND AND BATTLEMENT MESAS, NORTHWEST SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS INCLUDING THE CITIES OF SKYWAY, OURAY, TELLURIDE, AND LAKE CITY***
Storm total amounts will vary from 12 to 28 inches through today. The snow level will reach the mountain bases. Winds from the west/northwest at 10 to 20 mph will reduce visibility below 2 miles at times in snow and blowing snow. This will impact travel in the central and southern mountains with icy and snow packed roads especially over mountain passes. Strong winds will create areas of blowing and drifting snow.
VETERANS DAY: A 20% chance of snow showers. Partly sunny and cold with highs near 30 in Colorado Springs and in the mid 30s in Pueblo.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and frigid with lows in the teens and single digits and wind chills as low as -10. Colorado Springs will drop down to 12 overnight and Pueblo to 6.
MONDAY: Sunny and conditions will warm up. Highs in Colorado Springs will make it into the upper 40s and into the low 50s in Pueblo.
MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows in the low 20s in Colorado Springs and near 15 in Pueblo.
TUESDAY-SATURDAY: Sunshine and seasonable temperatures with highs in the 50s and lows in the mid to upper 20s.
