The wife of a Colorado police officer is accused of faking cancer to raise about $60,000.

Ann Crall, 31, of Highlands Ranch has been indicted on six counts of theft and one count each of charitable fraud and forgery. Prosecutors said Wednesday that Crall has been arrested and is being held on $25,000 bail.

Crall's husband is a police officer in Lakewood and doesn't face any charges. Authorities weren't clear on whether he believed his wife had cancer.

On Monday, a judge in southwestern Colorado sentenced a former college student, Tausha Marsh, to 36 days in jail after she pleaded guilty to charges that she faked cancer to raise more than $30,000. Authorities say the cases aren't related.
