Woman allegedly stabs 4 at California Target store

Authorities say a woman who allegedly stabbed and wounded at least four people in a Target store near Los Angeles has been arrested.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. Josh Mankini says an off-duty deputy who was shopping Monday afternoon pulled out his gun and ordered the 34-year-old woman to the ground.

Mankini says the woman was arrested with the help of private security guards at the West Hollywood store. Mankini says the woman stabbed three women and a man with a large blade about the size of a kitchen knife.

Los Angeles County fire Inspector Fredrick Stowers says at least one of the victims was in critical condition. He didn't know the conditions of the others.
