Woman killed in hit-and-run crash in Denver

DENVER (AP) - Police are investigating after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash on a busy street in Denver.
KUSA-TV reports the woman, whose name has not been released, was crossing the street at the intersection of South Broadway and East Cedar Avenue when she was struck at about 1 a.m. Sunday. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Witnesses say the driver of the tan or beige sedan that hit the woman sped away from the scene.
