A woman convicted of causing a fatal head-on collision after driving the wrong way on Interstate 25 has been sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by five years of parole.

Before she was sentenced today in Denver, Victoria Barry told a judge she will suffer for the rest of her life for the crash that killed Lilly Duncan of Colorado Springs.

Prosecutors say Barry was drunk when she drove south in the northbound lanes of I-25 on May 14, 2011.

A jury convicted her last June of vehicular homicide, driving under the influence third-degree assault.
