One worker was injured in an accident at the Vestas plant in Pueblo this morning. Nathan Grahm, 20, was reportedly working on a section of a tower when he fell, badly injuring one hand. Grahm also had injuries to a hip and arm. He was taken to a hospital in Pueblo and later transferred to a Denver hospital.
The injuries were said to be non-life threatening, though CPR was performed at the scene.
This accident comes less than a month after a contract worker was killed while loading a windmill tower onto a transport vehicle.
The Vestas plant in Pueblo makes towers for wind turbines.
