Young Gold is going for Gold

Arielle Gold is a perfect fit for the U.S. Snowboarding team heading to Sochi, not just because her last name is "Gold," but because, even though she's the youngest member, she could be the best.

Earlier this month the Steamboat Springs, Colorado native was selected to the Team USA Snowboard roster in the half pipe discipline. She's just 18 years old but had a breakout year in 2013, winning 2 X-Games bronzes, a gold on the European tour, and 2nd place in the World Snowboard Tour rankings. Despite all that, next month's stage is the largest she's been on in her young life.

"I'm definitely feeling a little bit of pressure going into this games," says Gold. "But, I mean, I'm just trying to ride as best i can, and train as much as possible, and as long as I'm focused on what I need to do to get there, I'm able to keep the pressure off.">

The Olympics start February 6th.
