Zoo comes to Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind

Students at the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind got to walk on the wild side Wednesday.

They used touch and sound to experience wildlife. Animals from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo paid a visit to the gymnasium. It's part of the Zoo on the Move program, which brings the zoo experience out to the community.

"Personally, I think it's great to pet them because some people like me might not know what they feel like," said Jack Lambert, an 11-year-old student.

With the use of touch, the students' favorites were the porcupine and snake.
