Colorado regulators won't license surgery technicians, despite the recent case of a surgery tech who admitted stealing syringes filled with a painkiller and infecting three dozen people with hepatitis C. Officials at the Audubon Surgery Center in Colorado Springs say there is no evidence any of their patients contracted hepatitis C from a surgery technician who used syringes filled with painkillers meant for patients.
