A roadside bomb injured seven people including three soldiers Sunday in northern Baghdad. According to NBC news, Iraqi police said the bomb targeted civilians and exploded while people were passing by a checkpoint. The Department of Defense says a 25 year old soldier from Colorado Springs died Sunday in Baghdad. Sgt. Mark A. Cofield suffered injuries in a non-combat related incident. Authorities say two American pilots have been killed in a helicopter crash in Iraq. Officials say the two died when their helicopter went down Sunday north of Baghdad. The military is also reporting that a Marine has died of noncombat-related injuries in a separate incident. Both incidents are under investigation. more » -
