COLORADO SPRINGS - A record 292,698 voters cast ballots in El Paso County during in the 2012 General Election. The county election department finished the canvassing process Wednesday which officially certifies the results. The final vote tally beat the 2008 record by 17,991 votes. Downtown DMV closed next week

The Downtown Branch of the El Paso County Clerk & Recorder's Office be closed from Monday December 5 through Friday December 9, 2011 because of construction.
